    Mordecai "Three Fingers" Brown waas a hall of fame pitcher lost parts of two fingers on his pitching hand in a childhood farm machinery accident. It didn't stop him having a big league career of 239-130 and a career ERA of 2.06 (third best all-time) and election to the H.O.F. in 1949.

    Pete Gray (Wyshner) was a one armed ballplayer who play the outfield for the St. Louis Browns. He only played one season (1945) and had a 218 batting average for that year.
