    In Europe which two capital cities are closest together?

    Not counting Rome and Vatican City as the latter probably does not have a definable capital city, I would say that Vienna and Bratislava are closest to each other being only 40 miles apart.
    As the article below mentions, the time spent traveling between the two European capitals was further shortened by the abolition of borders and construction of a new highway.
