North Korea has a potentially longer lasting President - Eternal. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/President_of_North_Korea He's dead, of course, which can be regarded as an advantage in a President. I am assuming author means 'of a country' or similar. Can companies appoint Presidents for Life?

This person (a saint) was the son of a wealthy merchant. His earlier life was a wild and immoral one, living as a musician. He turned his life around one night when he saw a holy man (anonymous as we know it). He quit his music and became a wealthy merchant. He quit this, however, when his money developed a sour odor. From this, he became a monk and made many pilgrimages to Jerusalem. Who is this person?

Executives of this company made up a fake person to sign customers' letters and to make the company seem more user friendly. This anonymous person was given a name and even put to air on national radio. Much later, a portrait of this mystery person appeared on packaging which is said to represent a mix of nearly 20 real-life people. What was this persons name?
