    This 6-letter word with a doubled consonant is a desk. The same word, but double a different consonant and it’s that office boss. This shouldn’t be too hard to figure out, or at least that’s what she said. What are the two words?

    		Carrel and Carell.

    A carrel being a type of desk common in college libraries and Steve Carell being the actor who plays Michael Scott the boss in the Tv series "The Office".
