    In the song 'Valerie' by Mark Ronson and Amy Winehouse, what actual contribution has Mark Ronson made (he certainly doesn't sing) such as playing any of the music, to be credited along with the actual artist? I know he's the producer but you don't see them on credits normally so what makes him different?

    		The song "Valerie" was orginally by The Zutons,but mark Ronson released his own cover to the song with the vocals of Amy Winehouse.It is from his album 'version' and most songs are covers.

    		Thanks Deepak, a good start and hopefully someone can also explain how although he appears not to be heard on the record he got his name on it. It's quite different to how things are usually done.
