    		Dan Quayle (incorrectly) corrected William Figueroa's spelling of potato to 'potatoe' at a spelling contest. In 1995, Dan Quayle was diagnosed with blood clots in his leg and was treated with a medicine Pradaxa, an ingedient of which was used as a rat poison.
    Vitamin K is to be avoided while on Pradaxa, as it slows it's action.

    		Correct, it is vitamin K. However, Dan Quayle was taking warfarin (Coumadin), which is also a rat poison. Pradaxa was not yet available in 1994 when he developed deep vein thrombosis. It is not yet approved for use here in the U.S. as far as I know.
