Recent data (including that from Google Earth) has revealed that cows align in a north-south direction. This is repotedly because the animals are influenced by the earth's magentic field.
Yes, and aside from cows, red and roe deer were also found to align themselves to face magnetic north.
The north-south orientation of cows and deer did not coincide with the terrain, wind direction or direction of sunshine.
Very strange.
