This John Connor can be linked to a poet's lines about one who walks without sympathy being headed to his own funeral drest in his shroud. He worked with an actor that is now doing double duty in a movie entitled with one of the poet's famous works. Who are these two actors?

    Verbonica

Edward Norton is scheduled to handle dual roles for the upcoming comedy/thriller Leaves of Grass.

I saw a post by zb a moment ago and now it's gone.
Anyway, both of you got it right!
John Connor of T2 has been played by 3 actors as zb mentioned (Christian Bale's movie is yet to be released).
One of them was Edward Furlong.

Zb correctly identified Walt Whitman's line:

"And whoever walks a furlong without sympathy walks to his own funeral drest in his shroud..."

Edward Furlong and Edward Norton worked together in American History X.

And as Veronica mentioned, Edward Norton is playing twins in "Leaves of Grass", which happens to be the title of Walt Whitman's most popular work.

Very sure I saw zb's post, or maybe I'm just fading away and need lunch.....

Yes, Edmund, zbeck did have the Whitman-Leaves of Grass answer. And the Terminator connection.

We still needed to stretch some more to arrive at the Edward Furlong association.

Enjoy your lunch at any rate...

The poets Andrew Marvell and John Milton were employed by which famous person?

According to some writers, this unfortunate man, along with his male descendants, was the subject of some of the greatest lines of verse ever penned by one of history's greatest poets - though these are historically controversial and, depending on the interpetation, quite gruesome. Centuries after his death, he also became the subject of a couple of great works of art. Who was he, in what work of literature does he appear, and can you provide - depending on your tastes - an illustration of one of the artworks?
