Mr. Darcy from Jane Austen's "Pride and Prejudice"?

If we are to go by a survey of members of the 700-strong Romantic Novelists' Association, Pride and Prejudice is the most romantic novel of all time. It might be the logical conclusion that Mr. Darcy is the favorite fictional romantic hero of all time.
