    Is the percentage of left-handed people higher in societies where the direction of writing is right-to-left?

    		The Arabic/Urdu script is where text is written from right to left. Generally in Asia and especially in the Islamic religion, the use of the right hand is preferred. The left hand is meant to be used only for cleaning oneself. So, left-handed children are made to change their writing style. The percentage of left-handed people will definitely not be high, it will be very less.
