Where is the world's widest bridge?

Depending on the type of bridge, it could be the Leonard P. Zakim Bunker Hill Memorial Bridge in Boston, Massachusetts, USA or the Sydney Harbour Bridge in Sydney, Australia.

"The Leonard P. Zakim Bunker Hill Memorial Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge that carries eight lanes of the Interstate 93 and U.S. Route 1 concurrency, plus a two lane access ramp, across the Charles River in Boston, Massachusetts...The bridge replaced the Charlestown High Bridge when it opened, and is the world's widest cable-stayed bridge."

"The Sydney Harbour Bridge is a steel arch bridge across Sydney Harbour that carries rail, vehicular and pedestrian traffic between the Sydney central business district (CBD) and the North Shore...According to Guinness World Records, it is the world's widest long-span bridge and its tallest steel arch bridge, measuring 134 metres (429.6 ft) from top to water level. It is also the fourth-longest spanning-arch bridge in the world."

I'm looking for the name of a TV mini series movie/show. We had rented them from the video store. It's about a boy who is traveling to different worlds looking for pieces of a machine to get him back home (I think.) He is gathering something along his way. He travels to different worlds with a "professor" and maybe another person. Along the way he visits 5-8 different worlds (each was a different movie.) They were all entitled "Somebody and the Land of ???" One world had to do with giant eggs, one world a town of toys, and the end was a land something like a fantasy "Camelot." My children watched these movies anywhere from 1988 - 1993. I'm hoping someone can help me end my frazzled search.

Why wasn't the Oakland part of the San Francisco-Bay Bridge also built as a suspension bridge instead of a truss bridge?

The Quebec Bridge, which spans the St. Lawrence River, is the longest cantilever bridge in the world. However, the first design collapsed, killing 75 workers. Now, working engineers wear a reminder that some say is made from the remains of the bridge, of their social responsibility. What is the object?
