What cartoon had the Indian that was always sending smoke signals and searching from the plateaus?

Question #101336. Asked by TxBrowneyez. (Nov 29 08 4:56 AM)

    looney_tunes

This sounds like a recurring Looney Tunes character. One of the cartoons in which he featured was the 1938 cartoon "Injun Trouble" with Porky Pig. He was featured with a number of the main characters over the years.
