And just as further information, the original Simon & Garfunkel recording (1970) was co-produced by Roy Halee, Paul Simon, and Art Garfunkel.

Roy Halee is a record producer and engineer. Halee grew up in Long Island, New York. He was named to the TEC Awards Hall of Fame in 2001. He was best known for producing several albums with Simon and Garfunkel, including the Grammy-winning Bridge Over Troubled Water. He has also worked with other groups such as The Byrds, Willie Nile, Laura Nyro, Blood, Sweat & Tears, and Blue Angel.
