    Your reference says that "until recently" Baidoa was the seat of the Somalian government. So apparently it must have moved somewhere else?

    The treasurer of the famous Beijing hotel in the southern agricultural town of Baidoa, which is the current base of the Somali transitional federal government Mr. Ali Mohammed Mohamud best known as (Ali Yare) was on Wednesday morning shot in the head simultaneously by three men armed with pistols in the mid of Baidoa market.

    It says here that the whole government was sacked on December 17, 2008. So perhaps there isn't a goverment?

    Under the transitional federal charter, the president needs the parliament's approval to sack the prime minister.

    So, apparently -- It's not a done deal.
