If you were to see a couple on TV lovingly outlined in black and white, she proudly displaying her eternal stone, chances are you will hear this in the background. This work of a Welsh composer calls to mind an architectural style by a Padovan architect. Who is this architect?

He is Andre Palladio. The composer is Karl Jenkins whose album 'Diamonds' contains a track called 'Palladio'.

Right! And here are just some of the "Diamonds are forever" commercials that used Karl Jenkins' "Palladio."

This architect and urban planner played such an influential role in his native city that he earned the title of "father" of its modern incarnation. Outside of that city, however, his main claim to fame is the fact that he really was the father of a certain celebrity, one who inspired a popular trivia game. Who was the architect, and who is his son? Oh, and how is the architect associated with a putative "sports curse"?

This painting of a couple ensconced in a cockleshell amidst a raging storm is a testament to the painter’s unrequited love. The woman in question was the child of an artist, wife of a great composer, then of an architect, then of a novelist/poet. What was her complete name?

Miraculously whisked out of danger and its original location by heavenly beings, it was bestowed upon a nice little hill town, where a famous architect (and some not-bad artists) eventually provided it with a suitable setting. What is it, who was the architect, and can you, by any chance, find a painting that illustrates the "miracle"?
