The official NCAA Division I men's basketball record book does not record a statistic for the most field goals attempted in a game without making a field goal for an individual player. It does, however, list a statistic for most three-point field goals attempted by two teams in a game without making one. That honor goes to Canisius and St. Bonaventure, who combined to attempt (and miss) 22 3-pointers without a single hit in January, 1995.

There's also no such statistic in the Division II record book, but Adrian and Albion combined to go 0-for-28 shooting in a game in December, 1938.
