A handheld sparkler burns at a blazing temperature of what degrees Fahrenheit?

    Question #10394. Asked by Carol.

    #18smom

There was a handbill in the 'downtown' convenience store (that I worked in a couple of years ago) that had a little lesson on it which stated, 'Stoves burn at 550 degrees farenheit, Sparklers burn at 2500 degrees farenheit. Please be careful on the fourth of July.' This was brought in by the fire department. Maybe your local department can verify this for you.

"Even a simple sparkler can reach temperatures of 1,000C - that's 10 times the temperature of boiling water."

A Sparkler reaches a temperature of up to 2000 degrees C.

    This would be 1832º - 3632º Fahrenheit.
