    What is a Tarpan?

    		Tarpan (Equus ferus ferus, also known as Eurasian wild horse) is an extinct subspecies of wild horses. The last Tarpan was seen in Ukraine in 1876. The word "Tarpan" is Kazakh or Kyrgyz, which means "wild horse".
