    119 Americans died on the Titanic.
    71 First Class
    27 Second Class
    21 Third Class

    Only the British had more deaths at 225.

    Presumably none of the crew were Americans?

    Not many of the crew were Americans, however, there were three American Postal Clerks; two were killed.

    John Starr and Mr. Oscar Scott Woody were both killed.
