    		Ajudge in Peru has ruled a person cannot be fired for being drunk and ordered Pablo Cayo be given his job back.

    Yes. Peru's highest court has ruled that the firing of Pablo Cayo Mendoza was excessive because, although the janitor was drunk, he could still speak and write. The local administrative chief has criticized the decision, arguing that if employees cannot be fired for being drunk, then other employees such as bus drivers who report for duty intoxicated will have to be let loose on the roads.
