In the 1989 movie Major League, Rene Russo plays a young, beautiful librarian. What was on her license plate? When I was young (in the fifties) in New Zealand there used to be sections in some of the big shops called the 'Manchester' deptartment. I think it was where they sold bed linen etc. Does anybody know if this term was used then or is it my memory going haywire? My son has an allergy to peanuts. I never heard of it when I was a kid.
