Avenue Princess Grace in Monaco ranked No. 1 in the survey with homes fetching an average of $17,750 a foot.

“Properties on the avenue change hands for up to $41 million – and many of them are fairly modest four-bedroom apartments,” the report said. (Granted, you’re also paying for ocean views and Monte Carlo’s exceedingly amenable tax policies.)

A pad on Hong Kong’s Severn Road will set you back about $11,200 a foot, earning it second place on the list. London's Kensington Palace Gardens, a.k.a “Billionaires Row,” came in fourth place with an average price of $7,196 a foot, followed by Paris’ Avenue Montaigne at $5,046.

Take for example Avenue Princess Grace in Monaco – the world’s most expensive street.

Properties on the avenue change hands for up to $41m – and many of them are fairly modest four-bedroom apartments. This implies that top apartments sell for an eye-watering $190,000 per square metre.

Below is 2nd most expensive to 5th.

The world’s second-most expensive street is Severn Road, located on The Peak in Hong Kong, where the best properties with spectacular views of the city change hands for around $120,000 per square metre. Expect to pay around $80,000 per square metre if you want to live in the world’s third most expensive street – Fifth Avenue in New York City.

Fourth place goes to Kensington Palace Gardens in London – often referred to as “Billionaires Row”.

Houses on this street might sell for some of the highest prices in the world, but the more generous supply of space means you get more square metres for your money than in Monaco and Hong Kong. For a prime property in Kensington Palace Gardens you’re looking at $77,000 per square metre.

Paris’ Avenue Montaigne, in the 8th arrondisement and near the Champs-Elysees, takes 5th place at $54,000 per square metre.

Where in England is the most expensive street to live on, and what famous person is living there?

I'm looking for the name of a TV mini series movie/show. We had rented them from the video store. It's about a boy who is traveling to different worlds looking for pieces of a machine to get him back home (I think.) He is gathering something along his way. He travels to different worlds with a "professor" and maybe another person. Along the way he visits 5-8 different worlds (each was a different movie.) They were all entitled "Somebody and the Land of ???" One world had to do with giant eggs, one world a town of toys, and the end was a land something like a fantasy "Camelot." My children watched these movies anywhere from 1988 - 1993. I'm hoping someone can help me end my frazzled search.
