What famous Englishman used the pen name Shaw, when during his service as an airforce man in Karachi in the 1920s, he translated the Odyssey?

T E Lawrence - AKA Lawrence of Arabia

    Watchkeeper

    From the source quoted above:

"Lawrence was born at Gorphwysfa in Tremadog, Caernarfonshire (now Gwynedd), Wales. "

That would make him a famous Welshman, not a famous Englishman.
