Albert Speer was Hitler's chief architect and had a very close relationship with him. At the end of the war Speer insisted that although he was one of the most inside men of Hitler's he still had absolutely no knowledge of the Holocaust. Speer was not executed by the Allies and after serving a long prison sentence was set free.

Today evidence has surfaced showing that Speer was lying and that he was very much aware of the Nazi's attempts of mass extermination during the War.
