    Fred Haise flew on the Apollo 13 lunar mission, Igor Stravinsky composed the ballet "Apollo, Leader of the Muses" and Carl Weathers played Apollo Creed in the "Rocky" movies.

    Fred Haise was the Lunar Module pilot aboard the Apollo 13 mission (and if you haven't seen the film where he was played by Bill Paxton, DO IT).

    		And, if you aren't familiar with Stravinsky's "Apollo", it is truly amazing music from his neoclassic period written for a small chamber string ensemble. Absolutely beautiful music!
