    What has been termed the "geek apocalypse"?

    		The point of "Singularity" (or "Geek's Apocalypse") is that it's when machines supposedly become sentient. To assume that a machine would magically become self-aware, productive, contented or "happy", self-reproducing, or even interesting or useful in any way.
