When is somebody likely to use "aqua borovi"?

    Question #106466. Asked by gentlegiant17. (Jun 20 09 11:33 AM)

Just piecing things together. 'Borovi fenyo' is Hungarian for Scots pine.

'Borovi vetchki' is Macedonian for 'pine branches'.

So I am pretty sure that 'borovi' refers to pine trees. 'Aqua' is the Latin word for water. So the entire phrase *might* refer to pine pitch. "Perfectly water proof, gum based pitch melts easily, has a faint pine odor, looks like a thick varnish, makes a non-slip surface and remains flexible. It can be used as both a coating and an adhesive."
