What is the plural of 'shot in the foot'?

Question #106951. Asked by serpa. (Jul 09 09 8:35 AM)

It would depend on if you're making "foot" or "shot" plural. For "shot," it's "shots in the foot." For "foot," it's "shot in the feet."

If someone shot himself in the foot many times, he would have experienced several shots in the foot.
