    What was the first Scottish soccer club to lose its place in the Scottish League after World War II?

    		St Bernard's F.C.
    In 1900, the club was relegated to the Second Division after losing a test match to St. Mirren, and even though they promptly won this at the first attempt, they were debarred promotion by the other First Division teams: ostensibly due to their low gates.
