John Christopher Balderstone (November 16, 1940, Longwood, Huddersfield – March 6, 2000, Carlisle, Cumberland) was an English cricketer and umpire. He played in two Tests in 1976 and umpired two ODIs from 1994 to 1998. He was also a professional footballer, playing in midfield for Huddersfield Town, Carlisle United, Doncaster Rovers and Queen of the South F.C.
