    The record for longest frisbee throw was set in 2003 by Erin Hemmings it still stands at an astonishing 1,333 feet, more than a quarter mile.

    There is no single record distance for throwing a flying disc as various categories are available, according to the World Flying Disc Federation. The current Open record is 250.00 metres achieved by Christian Sandstrom of Sweden on 26/4/2002 at El Mirage, California.
