This question is now a year old! One Hershey Kiss contains 25-26 calories. More than half of its calories come from fat. But since most of that fat is unsaturated and the kiss contains virtually no cholesterol or sodium, you can almost get away with calling it a health food. According to the 1991 Kinsey Institute New Report on Sex, a passionate kiss burns 6.4 calories per minute (compared with 11.2 calories burned per minute jogging on a treadmill, ho-hum.) Other sites estimated that kissing burned 1 calorie per minute, so it will take anywhere from 4 to 26 minutes to kiss away the calories of that one Hershey Kiss. Now, if that kissing should lead to another activity, which it sometimes does, you could burn between 3 and 12 calories per minute, depending on your weight and the level of enthusiasm, averaging about 100 calories per instance. So you can indulge yourself with 4 Hershey Kisses.
