There are a lot of cases of father and son (or mother and daughter) having the same first name. An American couple about to marry have declared they will not do this. Maybe many more have decided this too, but this case made the papers in the UK and possibly further afield. Who and why?

I read about this too.
A couple who got in touch with each other on facebook because they have exactly the same name - Both called Kelly Hildebrandt - are going to get married. They're not going to name any of their children Kelly Hildebrandt because - well, that would be wierd(!)

Yay! I'd often wondered if this had ever happened - or even a sort of reverse, say Lee Kelly married Kelly Lee (which could give rise to Lee and Kelly Kelly, or Kelly and Lee Lee depending on which was which...). (Baloo travels on trains a lot and thus has time to think in spirals...)
