What was Bugs Bunny's original name?

Question #10752. Asked by bob. (Feb 28 01 3:02 PM)

    Gnomon

Bugs Bunny was created by Text Avery. For the first few episodes he didn't have a name. Tex wanted to call him Jack E Rabbit, but someone else came up with the name Bugs Bunny and this became his official name. So his original name was in fact 'Bugs Bunny'.
