    For almost all of college football history, Yale University had more wins than any other football team. When were they passed and who passed them in total wins?

    		Yale has won 854 games in their history, ranking second in all time wins among Division 1 teams. Michigan is first with 872 wins, and Texas third with 832.

    I cannot confirm when Yale was passed but I *believe* it was in 2008.

    ANN ARBOR, Mich. - John Navarre completed 19 of 32 passes for 205 yards and a touchdown as No. 12 Michigan Wolverines beat Miami (Ohio) 31-13 Saturday in the opener for both teams.

    Michigan, already the victory leader in Division I-A football, won its 806th game to tie Yale for the most wins in any division.
