Where can I get a fish license for my pet fish Eric? He's a halibut.

    Question #107649. Asked by 29CoveRoad. (Aug 03 09 2:12 AM)

That's all well and good for a cat licence, 60 quid as provided by cat detector van from the Ministry of Housinge (that's what it says on the van). 8 quid for Eric the fruit bat. Eric the Halibut, however, is more tricky. And let's not even START on Eric the Half-a-Bee!

    Postal clerk: A what?

Praline: A license for my pet fish, Eric.

Clerk: How did you know my name was Eric?

Praline: No, no, no! My fish's name is Eric. Eric fish. He's an halibut.

I'm very fond of fish and chips, but like freshwater fish, not sea fish. What is the biggest freshwater fish and where does it live?

I am a fisherman. The sea where I trawl is running out of fish because too many fish are being caught. The fishing association has ruled that smaller nets with larger holes will be introduced immediately. Being selfish, and not trusting the other 1000 fishermen to change their nets, I do not change my net. This is on the premise that if I am the only one who does not change to the less efficient net, it will not significantly affect the overall outcome if I catch just a few fish more, and, if I am the only one who does change to the less efficient net, it will not significantly affect the overall outcome if I catch just a few fish less.
