    On "Gunsmoke," was Miss Kitty ever married?

    		I have reviewed a few different sources on this, including "The Complete Directory to Prime Time Network and Cable TV Shows 1946-Present" (Ninth Edition) by Tim Brooks and Earle Marsh and "Total Television" (Third Edition) by Alex McNeil. Although she was played for 19 seasons by the late Amanda Blake on television, and she definitely had feelings for Matt Dillion, I cannot find any evidence that Miss Kitty was ever married.
