Was the Lumière Frères 1896 movie "Danse Serpentine" in color or black and white?

Danse serpentine (1896) Black and White: This 49-second short was number 765 in the Lumière Frères catalog and shows a woman in very wide dress dancing on a wooden stage. By the flowing movements, it appears more like an abstract play with ever changing, fascinating shapes.

Well over a century ago a piano keyboard was developed that provided the same "shape" for all triads rather than the white-white-white, white-black-white, black-white-black, black-black-black, black-white-white, and white-black-black major triads of the standard keyboard. (Got that? :P) Who designed it, and what is its other big advantage?

Is white or black really a color?

Do we dream in color or black and white?
