Here's a vintage handbag from the 40s -- Features hand strap on back for carryng while dancing, and includes its original petite change purse. Beautiful painted-look clutch bag is adorned with a single celluloid elephant. We believe this to be from the late 1940s, Asian in origin, possibly marketed to soldiers returning home from the war. Small beaded purse with hand strap on back. Fits on back of hand when worn. Circa 1930's. Measures 5 inches across and 3 and 1/2 inches tall. (First bag on row #3)
