    Who was Colgate University's youngest graduate?

    		Emlyn I. Griffith
    Class of 1942

    Emlyn Griffith served as a member of the New York State Board of Regents from 1973-1996. He chaired the Committee on Elementary, Secondary and Continuing Education Griffith graduated from Rome Free Academy in 1938 at age 14, the youngest graduate on record. Four years later, at age 18, he was the youngest person ever to graduate from Colgate University. He attended Cornell Law, graduating in 1950.
