Unique and Unused both start with "un" but have different opening syllables. Are there any other words starting with un but have different opening syllables?

Not sure if I got your question correctly, but there are many instances of "un-" words in which the syllabication varies. Usually, if the the vowel following "n" is an "i", then syllabication follows "unique" (others are uniform, universe, unify, unilateral). However, as always, there are exceptions like unimaginable and unimpeachable. Scroll down this list and see other examples.
