    The current UK coinage (apart from the £2) bears the shield of the royal coat of arms - in full on the £1 and parts on the other six coins which add up to the whole. (And they look stupid...) Baloo has heard rumours of a £1 coin with a part rather than full shield. Can anyone confirm or deny this? (Settling an argument. I say no...)

    		Ta for that. Someone I know (you've met her) reckoned she'd seen one. I'm wondering if she's seen a mis-strike - but they don't usually get out.
