When you drink Kool-Aid, the ingredients include artificial flavor. So why is it that it still has Vitamin C?

Although Kool Aid has artificial flavor it also has some Vitamin C as an ingedient as well.

It's added as a selling feature...a drink that keeps kids hydrated, less sugar than soda...and a vitamin C additive equal to that of a fruit juice with a vitamin C additive..."sounds" a little healthier than a soda. It's along the same lines as vitamin D enriched milk.
