    Middleton, Nova Scotia is where the annual "Heart of the Valley Days" festival is held. James Middleton Cox was the victim of Warren G. Harding's 1920 presidential campaign slogan "Cox and Cocktails", which attacked Cox for wanting to repeal Prohibition.
