Is there such a thing as an overdose of certain types of vitamins?

There are two types of vitamins, fat soluble and water soluble. All substances become poisons at certain levels but the water soluble will pass through the body within reason, while the fat soluble build up and cannot be dealt with by the body and depending which vitamin (as they all have their own qualities) can have definite dangers if a far too high dose is taken.
Vitamin A can overload the liver in high amounts either short term or over a longer period and could conceivably be used to murder someone as it would not be a likely substance to look for
