Why at a particular temperature does resistivity of an element reduce to zero?

    Question #110445. Asked by ErumSaeed.

I daren't try and summarise it as all I knew was if you drop the temperature near absolute zero many metals lose their resistance.
This site has a nice video showing how the molecules separate to allow the charge through though so if you can understand the nuclear physics as well that's even better (I couldn't).
