Would one become ill or die after consuming an animal killed by curare?

    Question #110603. Asked by BRY2K. (Nov 09 09 5:27 AM)

No because the curare compounds are too large and too highly charged to pass through the lining of the digestive tract to be absorbed into the blood, therefore people are able to safely eat curare-poisoned prey.
