    		He meant "I think, therefore I am". This phrase means that if someone is wondering whether or not they exist, that is in and of itself proof that they do exist.

    		He meant that an entity that can add thought and wisdom to the general store of human knowledge must first of all exist. With that, the phrase also works the other way around - "I am, therfore I think" (meaning "the purpose of my existence is to think").
