Which two Shakespeare characters, of opposite sex, have names that are anagrams of one another?

Question #111197. Asked by welllady. (Dec 02 09 3:52 PM)

You could argue that the characters Viola and Olivia fit the bill.

Both are characters from The Bard's play "Twelfth Night" or "What You Will". Olivia is a Countess in the play. Viola, a female character is the twin sister to Sebastian BUT when disguised as a man, she is known as Cesario.

But Viola and Olivia are not anagrams - Olivia has 2 'i's, Viola only 1.

Alice (from Henry V) and Celia (from As You Like It) are anagrams, but same sex.
