    Name two mammals that grow hair only after they are born?

    		Wombat and Kangaroo. In fact, nearly all marsupials are born hairless and develop when in the pouch.

    		Mice and rabbits also have hairless young. This I know from personal experience breeding animals.
    In fact this is one of the most important differences between rabbits and hares. Rabbit kittens are born underground, helpless, blind and hairless whereas leveretts, baby hare, are born with hare and already much more developed in other ways.
